In 2023, Rhebb & Johns were commissioned to layout and design a new 9-hole golf course in the heart of the Owl’s Head community located on dunes in the Florida Panhandle.

The task was to create a fun and casual golf environment for members and the public to enjoy.  The desired course would challenge the advanced golfer while being playable and inviting for seniors and beginners. The owner of the Owls Head property tasked Keith and Riley to create a 9-hole golf course experience that evokes a playful strategy and would become the anchor for a new senior living community.

The duo routed the course amongst sandy parlours, natural steepheads, and mature live oaks as the corridors meander across dynamic rolling sandy terrain unique to Florida.  The routing creates an adventurous loop that guides the player across the full range of topography on the property.
