Rhebb & Johns completely remodeled the 9-hole Winter Park Golf Course in Florida to enhance the golf course and the property’s charm. The key objective for the project was to ensure that the design was sympathetic to preserving the property as a dual-purpose community park and public golf course.

Leaning into values found on links courses adjacent to villages over in Scotland and Ireland, Riley and Keith personally crafted and shaped greens, fairways, and bunkers (Blake Conant served as the bunker shaper), relocated tees, re-planted new Bermuda grasses on all the greens and fairways, and added an 18-hole community putting course to the property.

The Rhebb & Johns team completed the project under budget and completed all the golf work in 90 days. Today, the Winter Park Golf Course, or WP9 as it is affectionately known, serves nearly 50,000 golf rounds annually. It is a vibrant, proudly municipally owned and operated golf course that continues to reinvest revenues into the golf course.
