Established in 1904, St. Charles Country Club has a long and fascinating history in Winnipeg, MB. Played by the best in the world for over a century, St. Charles boasts twenty-seven holes, with 18 designed by the men behind Augusta National and Pinehurst No. 2.

Only at St. Charles did their paths connect, with Ross and MacKenzie each creating nine holes that merged into one of Canada’s best courses. Stanley Thompson protégé Norman Woods completed the club, adding nine holes to bring the total to 27.

In early 2023, St. Charles Country Club retained Rhebb & Johns to develop a renovation plan of improvements for the ‘Woods Nine.’  In staying with the Stanley Thompson affiliation, Rhebb & Johns have proposed a complete remodel in the bold style, character, and essence of the late and great Stanley Thompson.

Construction commences in the fall of 2024.
